An Historic Moment

The twelve years of American history between 1776 and 1788 are perhaps the most important of all. Thirteen fragile colonies rejected tyranny and coalesced into a unique political ongoing experiment. This amazing form of We-the-People government had never before been tried on the blue marble.

I predict the next twelve years are going to rival that time period.

We are witnessing vast change for the better.

Here's but one example.

Did you ever think the USA would have an External Revenue Service? Do you know how our Republic paid a majority of its bills between 1788 and the early 1900s?

It's an exciting time to be alive in America.

As Pastor Lorenzo Sewell proclaimed this past Monday during the benediction, "From the prodigious hills of New Hampshire, let freedom ring!"

The children in the Deep South were elated this past week. Snowball fights raged in Pensacola, FL. Snowball forts were built in Mobile, AL. Ice hockey was played on Canal Street in NOLA. What fun! Young people will talk about the historic snow storm for decades.

Do you take walks like I do? I'm lucky to have miles of nature trails near me.

You, though, may have to walk along roadways. Sidewalks don't exist in rural New Hampshire.
