This is a RARE mid-week news blast. I have so much to share!

Much has happened in the past week. If you asked me to create a bullet-point list of all I accomplished in the past seven days, I think I might cause an electron shortage here on the Interweb!

Here's a very small summary of what I did:

• uploaded my latest columns and photos to the website
• drew two natural gas riser diagrams
• drew three DWV risher diagrams
• completed six phone consult calls
• answered 23 incoming Ask Tim questions for free
• created a new YouTube Short video about a thermal imaging camera

Don't you think it's a good idea for the people that work for you to share what they've accomplished in the past week? Anyone that thinks this is a bad idea has never signed an employee's paycheck. 

Of that there's no doubt.

Perfect Pencils

I've shared in past newsletters that I'm attracted to old-fashioned fountain pens that use real ink. I also have a fondness for great pencils both mechanical and those made from wood.

These are great if you don't own carpenters' pencils. The lead is VERY DURABLE and won't snap off on you.

New Printer/Copier/Scanner

I inherited my youngest daughter's college printer years back. It's 15 years old. It finally gave up the ghost.

I don't often print, but I do scan drawings I make, and scan some old photos.

Last week I discovered the Canon PIXMA TS6420a Wireless Inkjet printer/copier/scanner. The reviews were great.

Kathy ordered it for me as she controls the Amazon Prime account. It arrived at my doorstep on Sunday of all days.

I predict, and it could already be happening in your city, that Amazon will deliver from 6 am until 10 pm by human courier seven days a week. In no time at all, drones will probably deliver some things 24 hours a day.

I can't believe how FANTASTIC this new machine is. The printing speed is lightning fast. So is the scan speed.

What I enjoy most is the scans are IMMEDIATELY transferred to my computer's hard drive. I can select exactly what folder I want them to reside in.
