Four years ago a very close friend shared a story about a plumbing NIGHTMARE.
She was hosting a large family gathering. I think it was Thanksgiving, but I'd not bet my life on it. If not Thanksgiving, it was Christmas.
The meal involved hard-boiled eggs. With the help of one of her
grandkids, she was grinding up the shells in her disposal.
Soon the disposal and drain pipe were clogged. There was only ONE SINK in the kitchen. Can you imagine trying to complete a meal for 20, or more, without a kitchen sink?
Believe it or not, she was able to get a plumber out on this emergency call. He saved the day.
You can SAVE HUNDREDS of dollars by following my advice when you're about to overwork your disposal.

Not only will you clean the inside of the disposal, but the huge slug of water will transports the sludge, egg shells, etc. into the city sewer or your septic tank. BTW, it's not a good idea to send lots of food sludge into a septic tank.
