⛳ Update
My partner Ed and I won our league division match this past Tuesday. I made an epic chip out of the sand on the second-last hole that sealed the match for us. The one smart-ass opponent on the other team threw his
clubs up in the air when he saw my ball stop 16 inches from the hole for a par tap in. My putt won the match.
We play for the league championship on Tuesday. Rain is forecast. Wish us luck!
Artificial Intelligence (AI) DANGER
A few days ago my lovely wife Kathy sent me an article talking about how AI is putting people at huge risk. Here was one of the top paragraphs:
"404 Media reports that The New York Mycological Society has raised an alarm over the increasing number of AI-generated mushroom foraging books appearing on Amazon. According to the society, these books could pose serious risks to public health. “These AI-generated
foraging books could actually kill people if they eat the wrong mushroom because a guidebook written by an AI prompt said it was safe,” the NYMS stated on social media."
You need to understand people are using the AI bots to SPEW out content so they can make a fast buck. These people do NOT CARE about you. They care about their bank accounts. Tens of thousands of books about thousands of topics are being dumped
onto Amazon.
How does this affect you? Simple.
I can't begin to tell you the vast amount of BOGUS information out there on the Interweb having to do with your home. This is being ingested by the stupid AI bots.
I'm sure if they see the same WRONG information on multiple websites they must
think, "Well, lookie lookie. It must be TRUE. Here's another human website that says the same thing!"
Take it all one step further. What happens when a MAJORITY of the information you're trying to use is generated by AI?
The bottom line is you and your children are TOAST.
I've got nothing to worry about but you, well you have lots to worry about. Remember, if in doubt, get on the phone with me. Or, we can do a video call.
Maine Meet Up
There is a very good chance I'm having a meet up in remote Maine in late October. It might just end up being me and a few loons.
