Free Concrete Electricity

I've mentioned in past newsletters that I scan the news each day looking for new technology that's directly or indirectly related to your home or home improvement.

Several days ago I was attracted to a story like frogs to a pond. Imagine paying nothing at all for the electricity you consumed at your home. It would be generated by your foundation, your driveway, your patio, and/or your sidewalks. Look: 

A team of scientists from MIT and Harvard have made a breakthrough whereby a concrete slab in contact with the earth can become a supercapacitor.

All one has to do is blend carbon black in a specific way with concrete and magic happens!

Speaking of electricity, have you ever pondered this?

Electricity is the flow of electrons. Think of how water flows from a hose connected to a fire truck. The water stops flowing when the tank in the truck runs dry or the source of the water dries up.

But what about electrons? They enter your home via cables and wires much like a fire hose is the conduit for the water.

Where do the electrons originate?

You'll say, "Tim, you dolt, the electrons come from the power plant. Have you not paid attention to the high-voltage towers and wires that march all the way back to the power plant near your home?"

Take it one step further. Inside the power plant there are giant spinning generators. When these don't spin, there's no electricity. 

Period.

Are the electrons in the windings of the generator or in some hidden tank at the power plant (that's a joke)? If so, one would think there would be a finite supply and eventually they'd be exhausted like the energy in nuclear power plant fuel rods.

But that is not the case with generators. Countless electrons are created out of thin air by the spinning generator. Electrons are produced as long as the generator spins. Infinite spinning means an infinite supply of electrons.

Where do they come from??????

This is why you need to engage your critical-thinking skills about everything.

When you don't engage your critical-thinking skills, you fall prey to the power of propaganda.

You know how I've beat the drum here about how you're being played (propaganda) constantly? You may be one that scoffs at me replying that I wear a tin-foil hat and that I'm a conspiracy theorist. I get about five of those emails each time I serve up a heaping spoonful of the truth.

Do you just get your news from one TV station? Many do. Here in NH most get their local news from WMUR. Back in Cincinnati, Kathy and I watched either Channel 9 WCPO or Channel 19 WXIX.

What do you think the ODDS are that the newscasters on HUNDREDS of different stations across the USA would read the EXACT SAME WORDS from the teleprompter on the SAME DAY? 

WHAT WOULD THOSE ODDS BE?

The Spy in Your Pocket

My guess is you have a smart phone. I've got the Pixel 5a running Android. You may have an iPhone powered by the late Steve Jobs software. It makes no difference which one you have as they're both spies. Just like those trollops Alexa and Siri.

You probably have the data and security settings all wrong on your phone and computer.

If you have the settings WRONG, your phone is LISTENING TO EVERYTHING YOU SAY when it's on. I actually think it listens even when you THINK it's OFF.

Surely you've started to see ads about some odd thing you were TALKING about with someone while your phone was on the table or in your pocket. How in the world did those ads start to mysteriously appear???

You do realize that even if your phone is off, current can still be running to the microphone allowing it to record what's going on just like the tiny bugs in all the spy TV shows and movies that are put about in offices, houses, bedrooms on Caribbean island getaways, etc.

My Latest Project

Here's what I've been working on the past few months. I only work on it every now and then when my helper is available:

You're looking at my son's new patio in Nashua, NH. It's made from real clay split paving brick mortared to a steel-reinforced concrete slab. Just five days ago there were only eight rows complete.

This past Wednesday morning I rolled my hydraulic floor jack under the steps an lifted them up ever so gently and slowly so we could extend the brick beneath them. 

There were only eight rows done before this past Wednesday. We got LOTS done in two days if you count the rows.

I'm in the process of recording detailed videos about the process but GO HERE to see a series of photos in chronologic order of the work in progress. I estimate that we'll be eating dinner on the patio by September 1st.

Sleep Like a Baby

A few years ago I started having trouble sleeping through the night. It seems when you accumulate quite a few trips around the sun mixed with falling off roofs twice in your youth, you don't tend to sleep like a swaddled infant.

You need to know that my dear sweet mother was one of the first woman pharmacists in the state of Ohio. Look at her pharmacy sorority pin below. It's a cherished family heirloom. She graduated in 1946.

Yes, that's a skull and crossbones at the top with garnet eyes! Along with the Caduseus on the upper right and lower left. Both are ancient symbols associated with medicine, healing powers, and alchemy.

I remember as a child Mom telling me that before John D. Rockefeller messed things up, all the GREAT medicines came from plants. Hemp is a plant.

Did you know that Rockefeller was the father of Big Pharma? Tsk tsk... Read about it here.

Did you know that you're NOT ALLOWED to patent anything that's found in nature?

Did you know it's against the Geneva Convention to create bioweapons as happens when one does gain-of-function research with natural or man-made viruses? But I digress!

Rockefeller discovered you could make drugs from oil of all things. Since he couldn't make money from drugs made from plants he completely turned the practice of medicine on its head.

There's so much you don't know about Rockefeller. He'd be a great antagonist in a book series in my opinion.

Anyway, do you know why so many states have laws against marijuana? Because you can't patent it for goodness sake! It's NATURAL.

So Big Pharma lobbies lawmakers (victims of RECIPROCITY - campaign contributions) so that Big Pharma can SELL their products to you instead of you using NATURAL remedies like my mom told me about. They outlaw NATURAL remedies forcing you to BUY crap drugs made from oil.

Fast forward. You need to know up until the last year I NEVER smoked weed, took recreational drugs of any type other than a rare 32-oz mojito or two or a shot or two of Disaronno Amaretto. I did have a short tryst with Bacardi 151 back before meeting Kathy 55 years ago.

About a year ago my son said to me, "Dad, you should really try some THC. You'll sleep better and it can be a great pain reliever. Take one of these chocolate crunch bars that has some in it. But for the love of God, do NOT eat the entire bar! Cut it up into no less than eight pieces. Eat one small piece (8-10 MGs) one hour before going to bed."

I did what he recommended. I slept better than I had in years. I had NO PAIN laying on either side.

My mother was right and I never really doubted her wisdom. Native Americans, the Yanomami people, and countless other witch doctors of old knew all the amazing healing powers of plants.

For Fathers Day, my son gave me a new box of brownies. Each one has 25 MG of delta9THC in it. I cut a brownie into thirds and pope the piece into my piehole when I know I need to sleep well.

The remarkable thing is there appears to be a 4-day residual effect for me. I sleep great for the following three or four nights after one dose of the delta8or9 THC.
