Lead Warning UPDATE

Days ago I sent out a WARNING email blast to you. It was about an article I read in the Epoch Times. As always happens, I get responses from subscribers. One was from Paul. 

He let me know the 1967 date in my warning was wrong. Any home built before 1978 probably has lead paint in it. 1978 is the year the Federal lead-paint ban went into effect here in the USA.

It's possible for a house built after 1978 to have lead paint. A painter MAY HAVE stored some lead paint he bought just before the cutoff. 

Bottom Line: ALWAYS TEST for lead if uncertain.

Eugene, Oregon Natural Gas Ban

I scan the news for all sorts of reasons. One story last week caught my eye as it's directly related to building and remodeling.

What's interesting about this one little event? It provides an excellent opportunity in a master class about truth, facts, and what's being withheld from you.

The city council in Eugene, Oregon voted to BAN natural gas hookups in new construction. Read about it here. There are other stories out on the Interweb about this should you need more, or ALL OF THE, facts about the authoritarian move by the city council.

If you're a planet warrior, you may think this is a noble thing at first blush. But as with many things, it's probably a good idea to dig deeper and apply critical-thinking skills to the situation.

What you'll discover in short order is that you've been lied to repeatedly. It's happening each day to you. How can I say that with certainty?

I've done expert witness work for the past 25 years. We have a saying in our business: "A half-truth is a WHOLE LIE."

Yes, a lie by omission. If you raised kids, you know all about these lies.

The council members in Eugene based their decision on half-truths. Will your city council be next? What will your local overlords try to take away from you?

For starters, why should you be denied natural gas if the utility company you now have to buy electric from BURNS NATURAL GAS to create the electricity they want to sell you? Look at the bar graph below from the Eugene, OR electric utility company. 

Shame on you Eugene, Oregon! You're a hypocrite. 

Everyone HATES hypocrites.

But it gets worse when you really start to think about it.

Are you okay with having to be limited to just ONE SOURCE for your heat? History is littered with tales of greed when a monopoly develops. Eugene, Oregon is creating a heating-source monopoly.

And what happens when the hydroelectric plants in the Northwest hit a dry spell? You know about Lake Missoula, right? If it can form, isn't it possible the opposite can happen? Why of course it can. Look at the Great Salt Lake. Do you know how deep it used to be?

Have you been exposed to all the facts about how Mother Nature constantly changes the climate - not us?

When was the last time you saw a TV propaganda show (they try to call them news shows) interview an expert on continental glaciation? I can answer it: NEVER

Why do you suppose the TV shows don't invite these people to tell you all about the MASSIVE climate change required to create all that ice and then melt it with NO factories, buses, cars, power plants, etc. around?

How would you react when the expert told you that the RATE of ice melt during the periods of continental glaciation was far faster than what's happening right now? 12,000 years ago the HUGE THICK ice sheets thousands of feet thick were receeding about 1/4 mile per year back to the North Pole. 

The little weenie Athabasca Glacier in Cananda hasn't been able to receed one mile in 100 years!

That CRITICAL FACT has been withheld from you all the while they try to ram EVs down your throat.

How would you feel if you discovered that vast amounts of continental glacial ice was created and melted a minimum of FOUR TIMES in the past 2,000,000 years? The only things belching carbon dioxide were the oceans, some volcanos, and a handful of cooking fires in caves.

Did that sink in? 

And how come you don't hear on the TV shows why we NEED CO2? Do you remember anything from your high school biology class about photosynthesis?

Now are you starting to grasp how you've been lied to about climate change? Such a sad mistake as Queen Cersei said.

Climate change is just one part of the Game of Thrones you're a part of whether you like it or not. And when you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.

Ham Radio Balloon

You might not be aware but ham radio is one of my hobbies. I've got hundreds of stories about my outdoor adventures here. What's the photo below about? It's all about Kaylee.

Some in the hobby incorporate APRS technology - Automatic Position Reporting System - in their radios. I have a small handheld radio, the Yaseu VX-8R, that does this. My radio contains a GPS receiver just like your smartphone.

Every so many seconds my radio will automatically transmit its latitude and longitude as well as other identifying data. Thousands of other special radios all around the world connected to the Internet are always listening for these transmissions. The receiving stations then report what they heard on different websites such as APRS.fi.

I just turned on an app on my smartphone that uses this technology and within seconds my position, W3ATB-10, was made visible to everyone in the world who might want to know where I am. Look at the screenshot below.

Do you see how useful this would be for people trying to identify where things are? Like balloons floating high in the sky.

You, and the Air Force, can track these balloons for free all day long on the APRS.fi website. All you need to do is set a Google Alert for ham radio balloon. When one is launched you'll be able to read a short story about it, its callsign, who launched it, etc.

Here's the last known position of the ham radio balloon. It sends out its position every now and then to preserve battery power.
