Pepe and Daltile
The photo above is a commercial building in north LA just off the 2 Freeway. The colorful artistry caught my eye as well as how
much WORK it took to do it. That wall is nearly 20-feet tall.
Imagine how the kids got up there to do this. I'm not condoning this behavior, but I have to tell you it looks better to me than a plain white concrete block wall!
I saw this graffiti as I went to Daltile with my good friend Steve.
We needed to purchase some sanded tile grout that allowed me to mix a custom color to match the grout on Steve and Karin's outdoor patio.
In a few days you'll see a video of this patio and me grouting the new pieces I installed.
You'll also see a

Don't Make the Daltile
MISTAKE!!!
After I wrote the above story about Pepe I decided to reach out to the president of Daltile to tell him about his great employee.
I went to the Daltile website so I could contact him. Here's what
happened:
- I couldn't find a Contact Us page
- I couldn't find in seconds a Media Contact page
- I couldn't get a response from the Daltile Twitter page
- Once I did locate a media contact in a hidden press release, I emailed her and NEVER HEARD BACK nor got a phone call

FIND and get a response from your media contact person.
I now have a very bad taste in my mouth about Daltile - even though they have a fantastic custom grout matching system.

Day: Why would you want to make it HARD for the media to contact you?
It's insane. Daltile needs a hard reset.
