Lots of funny stuff happens when you have a newsletter like this.
I wish I could share with you all the email replies I get from some of the subscribers like you.
Just a few days ago I was still in the afterglow of Kathy's scrumptious Thanksgiving cooking. It's my FAVORITE meal of the year.
I shared how juicy the dry-brined turkey
was.
Well, in this insane world of out-of-control political correctness - to which I do not subscribe (I do believe in being polite), I offended at least one vegan.
A woman told me in no uncertain terms the following:
"I am a vegan and don't particularly want to hear about your family's habit of eating muscle and bone and blood and nervous and connective tissue."
I won't bother you with the short back and forth emails we exchanged.
Maybe I need to start collecting all of the crazy responses I get and put them in a book.
I'll bet you'd be one who would LOL like I was when I first read her reply. Boy when she read that I was laughing out loud in my office, she was none too happy.
Should I start this crazy book?
Do I offend you from time to time?
If so, let me know! I need more pages in the book.
