Dear ,
If you could read all the questions I get each day, I'm convinced you'd come away with this conclusion:
"Tim, why don't people do research BEFORE they start a project?"
That's my advice for you and what I'd love for you to spread to any friends, neighbors or co-workers.
Most of the email I get are
from people who are drowning in misery. They've started a project and things have gone south.
They want me to throw them a virtual life preserver as they thrash about in the deep water.
When I do an autopsy on their issue, the report almost always shows the person:
- failed to read the installation instructions
- hoped the contractor would do it right
- didn't do their due diligence
Why do you think this is happening? It seems to be getting worse, not
better.
I
ponder why a person would not invest just $49 to talk to me on the phone for 15 minutes BEFORE they get started.
Slow down on your next project and try to avoid tumbling into the icy waters of the Home Improvement Sea.
California Drought
Solution
Unless you live under a rock, you're probably aware of the extended drought in California.
What's crazy about the situation is that Californians have access to unlimited water right next to them.
The Pacific Ocean.
I've said for years they should do what many other people do all over the world - desalinate ocean water.
The average water bill of a homeowner is only going up $5 per month if the article is correct. Look at the bottom of the article above.
Wouldn't that be worth it to you to have water all the time and not have to
worry?
Play a Game
Meghan called the cute bug, "Ah Bug".
It brings a tear to my eye thinking about holding Meghan in my lap and turning each page. She knew exactly where "Ah Bug" was and would get angry at me when I put my thumb over him so she couldn't see him.
Well, I've got an ADULT game for you just like it.
